Nice room. Beautiful hotel.
On the first day there was no water, once I called reception it took about 30 minutes for the water to came. And when checking out the credit card machine for master card was not working, payment with visa must be done with soles, not a big problem if they had used the rigth tax rate, about 1,75 soles for a dollar, but their tax rate was 1,90. When I complained they changed it too 1,85, also abusive. My taxi was waitting so I just paid the bill, but I did not like the attitude so I won't go back there.
Very secure, friendly staff, clean and cozy room. Heat in our room, and 2 feather pillows. The breakfast was wonderful, including yogart, fresh fruit, and tomales. The coffee was excellent. The night staff checked on our flight reservations and printed our tickets for check-in. We highly recommend this hotel for your Cusco stay. In the San Blas area, lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from.
Only thing that wasn´t excellent was the sound proofing, you can hear everything in the lobby from our room that was right next to the front desk, but everyone was very polite and quite quiet.
The front office staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. When our daughter left a special blanket in our hotel room at Aguas Calientes, Aintje on the front desk helped us to call the hotel there and arranged with the Assistannt Manager to bring the blanket to Cusco a few days later. Also, when we arrived very early back in Cusco one morning after an overnight bus trip from Puno, Yuti on the front desk checked us in to our room by 6am and provided us with a complimentary breakfast, which we really appreciated as we just wanted to eat, shower and sleep for a few hours. The hotel is located in a great area of San Blas but still only 5 minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas, and has a lovely atmosphere about it. The breakfast included in the tariff is fantastic and includes a buffet of fresh fruit, breads, juices, cheese and cold cuts as well as eggs made to order.Thank you to Hotel Los Apus for really making our visit to Cusco a special one.
Front desk staff (young lady) was always courteous and provided excellent advise on local attractions and restaurants. Rooms were well decorated and unique.
Poor ventilation and overall stagnant feeling of the air quality in the hotel room.
Super rooms with helpful staff would recomend. Allowed us to keep our luggage for our trip to Machu Picchu. Arranged collection and departure to the airport. Thank you.
The staff, especially the waiter Reuben, were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Any information that we needed was always provided quickly and efficiently, and always with a smile.
The room we had during the first part of our stay (5-9 April) had no external windows, and thus was a bit noisy and stuffy.
We stayed at the Hotel & Mirador Los Apus on two occasions and both times we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and it is located within easy walking distance to the Plaza D'Armas in the centre of the old city of Cusco. The breakfast which is included in the room price had a good range of choices and we felt that all in all this hotel gave excellent value for the rates that we paid. We would certainly recommend it to other travellers who are looking for good value at budget prices. .
Good location. Attractive hotel. Friendly staff. Good room rate.
Room was in a busier area. Hall light was motion activated and woke us up during the night.
It has a great location, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast menu is very good.
the staff stored our luggage while we were at Machu Picchu . The breakfast was very good. They added an extra bed to the room since there was 3 of us.
Great location - just a couple of minutes walk to the plaza and not up steep slope. Nice rooms and no much noise.
Two warnings and one complaint. They advertise resturaunts and heat. These seem to be available only during the high season. At breakfast, the number of flies on the food put me off eating.
breakfast at the top with a beautiful view on the city and the mountains
The hotel staff was very nice and make our stay enjoyable. We stayed one night and then travel for two nights to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu and were able to leave our luggages at the hotel. When we came back we spend another night at the hotel. We were recommended a taxi man that actually took us to Sacred Valley and was very helpful.
Bargain hotel. Excellent services in all accounts, especially when compared with the prices offered. Simple, yet comfortable, very picturesque accomodations. Pleasant, extremely dedicated staff. Delicious breakfast (even if there isn't much variety). Highly, highly recommended for those interested in skipping the whole hostal/backpacking scene and still traveling with a low budget.
The only negative would be the lack of variety in the breakfast buffet and the small room near the attic it was occasionally served, whenever there were fewer guests staying.
The atmosphere created by andean inspired architecture and alpine feel of the rooms . Very comfortable and great breakfast.
Only drawback is no computer available for guests' use. I hate going into internet cafes and using their slow computers. We try to travel without our laptop & I-phone.
